Mr. Hammond

By: Gaige Strausbaugh

Denny Hammond is a married man, he is 45 he has 2 kids both older, and has a grandchild. He is very sporty, he runs and has completed four marathons. He also enjoys basketball, he loves hiking and challenging himself to accomplish more. He was a math teacher in high school for three years then was the tech coach for three years. He went to a university but did not go to vocational school. He taught himself how to do tech. His dad taught him how to fix things and it has stuck with him. He taught his kids to always do the right thing and to work together and they all should love each other. Mr. Hammond was a pleasure to interview, he gives good motivational talks, He teaches us to respect others and ourselves and to always  try to make the right decision!

Mrs. Morgenson

By: Izzy Miller

Mrs. Morgenson graduated from Piketon. She received her teaching degree from The Ohio State University. She chose to teach at Adena because of the wonderful community here. She feels extremely welcomed here by everyone. She is also super excited to teach 7th Grade English Language Arts. This will be her first year teaching. While at OSU, she taught at Sherwood Middle School in Columbus. So far she loves Adena, likes the strong community and support. In her free time she likes to play video games, hang out with her cat (Cheddar), read and attend Ohio State football games.
